Poffertjes with Strawberry Pearls

Working Method
  • Add warm milk to yeast and let bloom for 10 minutes. 
  • Sift flour, sugar and salt together and set aside. 
  • Whisk eggs and Smoobees into milk mixture. Combine with flour mixture. 
  • Cover and let rest at ambient temperature for one hour. 
  • Heat cast iron poffertjes pan and portion the batter in each cavity with brushed melted butter. 
  • Cook until brown and flip. 
  • Once fully cooked sprinkle with powdered sugar.
